Private Meditation: One-On-One Instruction in Meditation

Meditation has become one of the most discussed personal improvement disciplines of modern times.  Indeed, the neurological research during the past sixty years has indicated a wide range of mental, physiological, emotional, AND physical benefits of regular meditation.  Humans have been meditating for thousands of years for personal growth and enlightenment.  Meditation is open to anyone who wishes to bring about growth in their lives.

Many people, out of a habit of looking for a phone app for their needs, are turning to meditation apps.  While these apps provide a wide range of guided meditation and training, their approach is impersonal, problem-focused, and promotes external reliance for meditation rather than encouraging personal effort.  For many individuals, joining a meditation class with a qualified instructor is the best way to learn the process and techniques in meditation.  For those individuals who feel unempowered with the topic of meditation, or individuals with specific needs and challenges (including those who have tried the meditation apps but without long term success), Himalayan Center offers one-on-one instruction on meditation.  We teach meditation within a secular framework using multi-faceted approach to meditation that is thousands of years old.

Learning to meditate is the finest investment one can make in oneself.  All our teachers are trained, certified and registered with Yoga Alliance.
