Reiki Training

Learn hands-on healing for stress-relief and relaxation. Reiki is an ancient healing technique that uses Universal Life Force Energy to heal and balancing the subtle energies within our bodies. Learn Reiki to increase the health of yourself, your family, and your friends. No previous knowledge or experience needed - open to all! Reiki treats any imbalance in the body, whether physical, emotional, mental or energetic. It can release and repair energy blockages, clear and balance stagnant energy flows, and repair any holes in your energy field. Reiki is easy to learn and is not associated with any religion. Reiki is safe and effective to use on anyone. A Reiki treatment feels deeply relaxing yet energizing. Some things we will discover together in this class: The history of Reiki The uses and benefits of Reiki How to channel Reiki energy for healing How to do a Self-Treatment How to do Reiki on another being How to prepare and protect your personal Energy Field Receive a Reiki 1 attunement, allowing you to channel Reiki energy Upon completion of class, receive a certificate that you are a Reiki 1 Practitioner. This class combines lecture, discussion, demonstration, and hands-on practice time.

Workshop location: Himalayan Yoga & Meditation Center in Palatine, IL directly across the street from the Palatine Metra station. The workshop location offers a large open studio space for us to practice. The Center also has plenty of parking space available in a private parking lot next to the building. The studio is on the second floor and stairs are required.

This course is approve for 6 hours of CE for massage therapists with NCBTMB but anyone can register and learn.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: You can cancel your attendance and request a full refund up to 2 weeks before class. After that time, there are no refunds. Feel free to send someone in your place. You cannot transfer your class fee to another class. Sacred Spirit Bodyworks reserves the right to cancel the class up to 2 weeks prior to the class if there are less than 6 people signed up. ​ Bad weather Policy: If the class is cancelled or rescheduled because of bad weather/roads, you will receive a full refund. If we hold the class, but you cannot make it because of weather/roads, you will receive a refund less a $35 administration fee.
