About the event
Anil will lead the group in discussing a Buddhist text "Bardo Thodol" (Tibetan Book of The Dead) which is famous for its review of the death process and philosophical treatment of soul's existence between the events of death followed by birth into the new incarnation. This state is called the "Intermediate State" and the text also provides guidance on meditation and life practices for spiritual growth.
Our translation/commentary is by Robert Thurman, a well read commentary on Bardo Thodol.
