Monthly Study Group
Sunday, Dec 4th
10:00 – 11:30 am
Join Anil Saigal and fellow aspirants in a discussion of the leading scriptures of yoga philosophy and spirituality.
Each session ends with a brief guided meditation.
We will continue reading "The Unadorned Thread of Yoga - Yoga Sutras by Patanjali in English" by Salvatore Zambito which contains a collection of the english translation of each sutra by the most significant commentators in history. Salvatore is a past student of Swami Veda and his work was done under Swami Veda's guidance. We will continue reading from Sutra I-14 onwards.
We will also reference Swami Veda Bharati's (unpublished) commentary on Chapter 1 titled Samadhi Pada (On Non-Cognitive Absorption).
Patanjali's Yoga Sutras is THE undisputed guide to yoga philosophy and practices for attaining enlightenment, and is a "must-read" for all serious meditators.
Two of the commentaries also recommended by Swami Veda are:
1) "Yoga Philosophy of Patanjali with Bhasvati" by Swami Hariharananda Aranya,
2) "Yogasutra of Patanjali with the Commentary of Vyasa" by Bangali Baba

The Gong Session
The Gong Meditation is so much more than just gongs. It’s gongs, singing bowls, bells and other percussion instruments, combined into a pulsating soundscape that is designed to help you slow down and invite stillness within. There’s no hurry, no destination—only the breath and being in the moment. The vibrations can help with stress, fatigue, depression, anger and blocked energy. This is personal self-care.
Michael Bettine - Bio
Since 2002, he has worked under the name, GONGTOPIA, presenting Gong Meditation Sessions & Sound Workshops, using gongs, singing bowls & bells.

Sound Healing & Restorative Yoga
with Chenoa Lorenzo ERYT-500
A Very Special Sound Journey Experience
Sound is so profoundly therapeutic! The tones resonate on a cellular level. Sound frequencies produced positive effects on our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health by changing brain waves patterns. These healing vibrations activate endorphin pathways, reducing pain signals from traveling to the brain. Sound Journey sessions can produce feelings of euphoria and overall enhanced relaxation.
Rest is sooo important, please join for these deeply restorative journeys.
